1992 Mercedes-Benz 300CE-24V Cabriolet
In 1991 Mercedes finally introduced the Cabriolet version of the W124 and delivery started in early 1992. This high spec 300CE-24 Sportline was ordered by Mercedes-Benz itself as a company car and was one of the first produced, with a production date early January 1992. On top of that, only 6.300 300CE-24V convertibles were built.
The car still has its original Pearl Grey Metallic paint. There are some scratches here and there but since it’s still original paint, we did not touch it. If desired, we can still do certain cosmetic touch ups. The car itself is completely rust free and the underside is in excellent condition. The original 8-hole alloy wheels wear brand new tires.
The interior is still in very good condition. This car was highly optioned with electrically adjusted and heated multi-contour seats, sport steering wheel, cruise control, air-conditioning and electrical adjusted steering column. All electric controls still work, the cruise control and dash clock as well. With only 116.000km this car is in great condition.
Mechanically the car is in very good condition. Prior the sale the car was completely serviced. All new fluids and filters, new spark plugs, spark plug wires, new alternator, battery and wipers. All electric components such as the ASR and self-levelling suspension is still in working condition.
